Durante su visita a la ciudad de Oaxaca el presidente Enrique Peña Nieto atendió a la inauguración del nuevo Centro de Cultural y de Convenciones.
En sus alrededores decenas de integrantes de la CNTE bloqueron los accesos y, cuando comenzaron a arribar los helicópteros de la comitiva presidencial, les lanzaron cohetones.
Al parecer el único afectado fue la aeronave en la que viajaban varios reporteros de medios nacionales.
