El piloto Scott Dixon fue lanzado al aire luego de ser impactado por el auto de Jay Howard quien perdió el control al golpear con la barrera de contención de la pista.
Todo esto ocurrió el día de hoy durante la carrera de las 500 millas de Indianápolis, la más importante de Estados Unidos.
Afortunadamente ninguno de los dos pilotos sufrió heridas de gravedad y ambos fueron dados de alta.
