La madre de Carrie Fisher, la famosa actriz Debbie Reynolds, murió esta tarde luego de ser hospitalizada de emergencia por causa de un ataque sufrido en casa de su hijo.
Reynolds, de 84 años, saltó a la fama con la cinta “Singin’ in the Rain” en 1952. Desde ese entonces y hasta 2013 participó en una gran cantidad de películas y series televisivas.
Fue actriz, bailarina y dueña de una gran voz; se casó tres veces, una de ellas con el cantante Eddie Fisher -padre de Carrie- del que se divorció en 1959 por causa del romenace de éste con Elizabeth Taylor.
Su relación con Carrie fue muy tormentosa y pasaron años prácticamente sin hablarse debido al desorden bipolar así como las adicciones de ésta.
