El Juez Único de Competición de la Real Federación Española de Fútbol, Francisco Rubio Sánchez,resolvió eliminar al Real Madrid de la Copa del Rey por la alineación indebida de Denis Cheryshev.
Este escándalo se dio el pasado miércoles durante el partido de dieciseisavos de final ante el Cádiz. Las redes sociales literalmente explotaron luego de que se dio a conocer que el jugador ruso tenía la sanción de un partido de castigo en dicho torneo..
El conjunto blanco queda fuera de la competición y es el cuadro andaluz el que accede a los octavos de final.
El Madrid ha anunciado que recurrirá la resolución ante el Tribunal Administrativo del Deporte.
